Argentine Bahia
Bahia grass is widely used in Florida as pasture grass and for sides of roadways and medians. This type of grass is very cold tolerant and goes dormant in the winter months to protect itself. Bahia is an inexpensive, durable grass which can survive without supplemental irrigation or fertilization.

St. Augustine Floratam
Floratam is the most used St. Augustine grass in Florida. It has poor cold and shade tolerance relative to other St. Augustine grass'. Floratam does not grow well in environments that receive less than 6 hours of sunlight daily. All St. Augustine grass' must be maintained regularly with weed control and pesticides.

St. Augustine Seville
Seville has a dark green tint. This type of St. Augustine is very similar to the Floratam but is cold and shade tolerant. It is also a semi dwarf variety of St. Augustine. All St. Augustine grass' must be maintained regularly with weed control and pesticides.

Celebration Bermuda
Celebration is a deep blue-green bermuda grass which is widely used in professional and college sports venues, golf courses and home lawns. This type of Bermuda is known for it's wear tolerance and self repair. It is very drought and shade tolerant. This type of grass requires regular weed control and pesticide maintenance.

419 Bermuda
This Bermuda grass performs best in full sun. It is known for its quick recovery from wear. 419 Bermuda grass grows best in hot climates and may become dormant in the winter months of the year. This type of grass requires regular weed control and pesticide maintenance.

Empire Zoysia
Zoysia is a medium-bladed, dark green grass that features excellent wear tolerance. It requires less mowing and chemical applications and is chinch bug resistant. This type of Zoysia is commonly used on golf courses, and home lawns. Zoysia is not a recommended grass for use in Florida, and is very susceptible to Nematodes which are also found in our orange groves throughout the state.
